Biography:
Herman Schultz, envisioned as Shocker in early MCU concepts, never materialized in the way he was designed. Early designs featured a drastically different costume, reflecting a more tech-based and less quilted aesthetic than the version eventually seen.
In the MCU, two characters have held the role of the Shocker. Both served as henchmen working under Adrian Toomes, the Vulture. The first was Jackson Brice, played by Logan Marshall-Green, who was killed by Toomes for insubordination. He briefly used the Shocker's gauntlets before his demise.
The second Shocker was Herman Schultz, portrayed by Bokeem Woodbine. Schultz assumed the role after Brice's death, wielding the same modified Crossbones gauntlets to generate concussive blasts. He was ultimately defeated and apprehended by Spider-Man.
It's important to note that the character based on the design was removed from the final cut of the movie.
