Biography:
Prince Caspian, also known as Caspian X, is a pivotal character in C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia book series, and subsequently adapted into film and television.
He is a Telmarine, a group of humans who conquered Narnia generations before his birth. Born into a court rife with intrigue, Caspian is the rightful heir to the throne but is forced into hiding when his uncle, Miraz, usurps power and plots his demise.
Fleeing for his life, Caspian stumbles upon the ancient Narnians, creatures believed to be extinct. He blows the magical horn of Queen Susan Pevensie, summoning the Pevensie children – Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy – back to Narnia to aid him in reclaiming his birthright.
In the course of his adventures, Caspian matures from a somewhat naive prince into a just and courageous king. He becomes a strong leader and is willing to work together with the native Narnians, setting him apart from the previous Telmarine rulers. He eventually marries Ramandu's daughter.
