Kraang is a collective name for a hive-mind of gelatinous, brain-like aliens from Dimension X in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. While numerous Kraang exist, the character most often referred to as "The Kraang" is the primary antagonist and leader of the Kraang invasion force on Earth. He resides inside a heavily armed and technologically advanced exosuit, designed to give him a humanoid form and protect him from the environment.

This exosuit is the form most commonly associated with the Kraang. Inside, the true Kraang is a small, pinkish-orange brain-like creature with tentacles. The exosuit grants him enhanced strength, durability, and the ability to wield advanced weaponry, including laser cannons and energy shields. He frequently uses the exosuit to communicate, issuing commands and plotting strategies to conquer Earth.

The Kraang's primary goal is to terraform Earth into a dimension more suitable for his kind and to dominate its inhabitants. He's ruthless, intelligent, and driven by a desire for power. He often forms alliances with other villains, such as Shredder, though these alliances are typically based on mutual benefit and are prone to betrayal. The Kraang consistently proves to be a formidable and persistent foe for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
