Helly R., a prominent character in the Apple TV+ series Severance, is portrayed by actress Britt Lower. She joins Lumon Industries, a corporation known for its radical "severance" procedure which surgically divides an employee's memories between their work and personal lives.

As a newly severed employee, Helly wakes up on the severed floor with no recollection of her "innie" or out-of-work self, her "outie". Determined to understand her situation and desperate to escape, Helly displays a rebellious and defiant nature. Her struggles to adjust to the bizarre world of Lumon and her fierce opposition to her assigned job are central to the show's narrative.

Throughout the series, Helly's experiences highlight the ethical implications of Lumon's practices and the psychological toll severance takes on its employees. Her journey to uncover the truth behind severance, both within and outside Lumon, becomes a driving force for much of the story and other characters in the show.
