Danny Rand is Iron Fist, a Marvel Comics superhero. Orphaned at a young age, he was raised in the mystical city of K'un-Lun. There, he trained extensively in martial arts and eventually earned the right to face Shou-Lao the Undying, a dragon whose heart granted him the power of the Iron Fist.

By plunging his fists into the dragon's heart, Rand absorbed a portion of its chi, allowing him to summon and focus his inner energy. This grants him superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes. He can also concentrate his chi into his fist, making it nearly unbreakable and capable of delivering devastating blows.

After years in K'un-Lun, Danny returned to New York City to reclaim his family's company and fight crime. He often works alongside Luke Cage as one half of the Heroes for Hire, using his skills and abilities to protect the innocent and battle various threats, both mystical and mundane.
