Biography:
Doris Zuel, better known as Giganta, is a recurring villain in DC Comics, primarily associated with Wonder Woman.
Originally a scientist, Dr. Zuel suffered from a deadly blood disease. She sought to transfer her consciousness into a more powerful host body.
Her initial attempts involved primates, but she ultimately targeted Wonder Woman. Although unsuccessful in that transfer, Zuel's consciousness was accidentally transferred into the body of a circus strongwoman, Olga.
This process imbued Olga (now controlled by Zuel's mind) with the ability to grow to immense size, becoming Giganta. This power is often fueled by anger or other strong emotions.
Giganta is often depicted as a member of villainous teams such as the Secret Society of Super Villains and Villainy, Inc. Her motivations typically involve acquiring wealth and power, and seeking revenge against Wonder Woman.
