Godzilla (Crystal Godzilla) is a recurring variant of the classic Godzilla kaiju, distinguished by crystalline structures emerging from his body. This iteration debuted in the 1995 film, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.

The origins of Crystal Godzilla are indirectly linked to Biollante, a plant-monster created from Godzilla's cells. These cells, ejected into space, were believed to have combined with crystalline entities, ultimately giving rise to SpaceGodzilla. SpaceGodzilla's arrival on Earth triggered a transformative process in Godzilla, causing crystals to grow on his body.

Crystal Godzilla's physical attributes are similar to the standard Godzilla design, but with prominent pinkish-purple crystals protruding from his dorsal fins, shoulders, and other areas. These crystals seemingly enhance his atomic breath and overall power, and also create opportunities for other monsters to exploit weakness in the crystallized areas.

While not appearing as frequently as other Godzilla iterations, Crystal Godzilla is a memorable variant due to his striking visual design and the unusual circumstances of his creation. He is primarily seen as a transitional form during the conflict with SpaceGodzilla, before becoming standard Godzilla again after destroying SpaceGodzilla's main source of power.
