Poe Dameron is a skilled pilot and commander in the Resistance, a key figure in the fight against the First Order. Born on Yavin 4 to Kes Dameron and Shara Bey, both members of the Rebel Alliance, Poe grew up surrounded by tales of heroism and adventure.
His upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of justice and a desire to fight for freedom. He inherited his piloting skills from his mother, becoming one of the best in the galaxy. Before joining the Resistance, Poe flew with the New Republic Defense Fleet, but found their cautious approach frustrating.
Driven by a need to actively combat the growing threat of the First Order, Poe joined the Resistance under General Leia Organa. He pilots a customized X-wing fighter, affectionately known as "Black One", and is known for his daring maneuvers and unwavering loyalty to his cause. He is instrumental in locating Luke Skywalker, destroying Starkiller Base, and leading the final charge against the Final Order.
