Biography:
Peter Parker, known as Amazing Spider-Man, first appeared in *Amazing Fantasy* #15 (August 1962). Bitten by a radioactive spider, teenager Peter Parker gained incredible abilities: superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls.
Orphaned at a young age, Peter was raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in Queens, New York. Uncle Ben's tragic death, resulting from Peter's initial selfishness, instilled in him the famous motto: "With great power comes great responsibility."
Driven by guilt and a desire to help others, Peter created a costume and adopted the identity of Spider-Man. He juggles his life as a student (and later, a photographer) with his crime-fighting duties, facing a rogues' gallery of villains like the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Venom.
