Biography:

Hela, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a powerful Asgardian goddess and the firstborn child of Odin. She debuted in the movie Thor Ragnarok.

Portrayed by Cate Blanchett, Hela is the Goddess of Death. After centuries of imprisonment, she returns following Odin's death to claim the throne of Asgard.

Driven by a desire for conquest and fueled by her immense power drawn from Asgard, Hela seeks to undo Odin's peaceful reign and restore Asgard to its warmongering past.

Her power set includes superhuman strength, speed, and durability, as well as the ability to conjure weapons and project energy blasts. Ultimately, she is defeated during the destruction of Asgard, brought about by Surtur, who Thor summons to stop her.
