Meteorite, also known as Val Ventura, is a relatively obscure Marvel Comics character. Her origin is tied to the Inhumans.

Val was a human woman who underwent Terrigenesis, the process by which Inhumans gain their powers. However, unlike true Inhumans, her transformation was induced artificially by the villain Doctor Declan. This process left her with volatile and unstable powers.

Meteorite's abilities grant her superhuman strength, durability, and the power to project energy blasts. However, these powers are difficult to control, fluctuating wildly and making her a threat to herself and others. Because of the instability of her powers, Val is often conflicted about her role and place in the world.

She has primarily appeared in stories related to the Inhumans and the Fantastic Four, often as a reluctant ally or a pawn in larger schemes. Her character arc usually revolves around her struggling to master her powers and finding a measure of stability in her life.
