Freakazoid is the titular character of the Warner Bros. animated television series, "Freakazoid!" (1995-1997). His alter ego is Dexter Douglas, a nerdy teenager who gains superpowers after a computer bug turns him into the insane, energetic superhero.

Dexter downloaded an experimental computer chip that was supposed to enhance his PC's abilities. However, a surge of energy transformed him into Freakazoid, granting him superhuman strength, speed, agility, and near invulnerability. He also possesses a hyperactive imagination and a chaotic personality.

As Freakazoid, Dexter fights crime in the city of Washington, D.C., often battling bizarre and absurd villains. He frequently breaks the fourth wall, referencing pop culture and interacting directly with the audience and the show's creators.

Freakazoid's powers and personality are highly influenced by cartoons and comic books, which he often references. His adventures are characterized by slapstick humor, surreal situations, and a fast-paced, stream-of-consciousness style of storytelling. He is voiced by Paul Rugg.
