Helena Bertinelli, known as the Huntress, is a DC Comics vigilante operating primarily in Gotham City. Two distinct versions of the character exist: a pre-Crisis and a post-Crisis iteration.

The original Huntress, Helena Wayne, was the daughter of Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Selina Kyle (Catwoman) from Earth-Two. After witnessing her mother's murder, she vowed vengeance against the criminals responsible and adopted the Huntress persona. She was a skilled martial artist and utilized a crossbow as her primary weapon.

Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline, Huntress was reimagined as Helena Bertinelli. In this continuity, she is the sole survivor of a Mafia massacre that claimed her entire family. Fueled by rage and a desire for justice, she adopted the Huntress identity and wages a relentless war against organized crime. While lacking superpowers, Bertinelli is a highly trained combatant and marksman, often employing brutal and morally ambiguous methods. Her relationship with Batman is complex, marked by conflict due to their differing approaches to crimefighting.
