Majin Buu, a central antagonist in the Dragon Ball Z saga, is a powerful magical being created by the evil wizard Bibidi eons before the events of the series.
Buu's original form, Kid Buu, is a purely destructive force, devoid of rational thought and driven only by chaos. Over millennia, he was sealed away due to his uncontrollable nature. Bibidi's son, Babidi, eventually releases Buu to conquer the universe.
Buu's power is derived from absorbing other beings, increasing his strength and transforming his appearance. Throughout the Buu saga, he absorbs numerous characters, including Piccolo, Gotenks, and even Gohan, each absorption resulting in a new and distinct personality. These different forms range from the docile and childish "Mr. Buu," who befriends Mr. Satan, to the calculating and ruthless "Super Buu."
Ultimately, after a brutal fight with Goku, Vegeta, and the combined power of the Earth's energy, the original and most dangerous form of Buu, Kid Buu, is defeated, ending the threat.
