Cornelius Evazan was a Corellian doctor whose medical practices were deemed unethical and ultimately led to his banishment from several star systems.
Haunted by the suffering he witnessed during his medical training, Evazan developed a nihilistic philosophy, believing life to be meaningless and prone to decay. This perspective fueled his descent into madness and criminal behavior.
Evazan became notorious for his surgical alterations and disfigurements performed on unwilling subjects. He often worked alongside his partner, Ponda Baba, engaging in smuggling and violent acts.
His most notable appearance is in Star Wars: A New Hope, where he accosts Luke Skywalker in the Mos Eisley cantina.
