Spock, a pivotal character in the Star Trek franchise, is the half-Vulcan, half-human science officer serving aboard the Starfleet starship Enterprise. Born to Vulcan ambassador Sarek and human teacher Amanda Grayson, he embodies the struggle between logic and emotion.
