Vision is an artificial being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was created by Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron as a perfect synthetic body, initially intended to house Ultron's consciousness.
However, before Ultron could fully transfer his mind, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner uploaded J.A.R.V.I.S., Stark's AI assistant, into the body. Thor then imbued it with power from Mjolnir, bringing Vision to life as a new, independent entity.
Vision possesses superhuman strength, speed, density manipulation, flight, and the ability to fire energy beams from the Mind Stone embedded in his forehead. He becomes a member of the Avengers, fighting alongside them against threats like Ultron and Thanos.
His unique existence and advanced intellect lead him to contemplate profound questions about life and consciousness. He develops a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff, further complicating his existence. Vision's fate is tragic, ultimately being destroyed by Thanos to obtain the Mind Stone in Avengers: Infinity War. A version of Vision is later rebuilt in the series WandaVision.
