Odin, often referred to as Odin Borson, is a prominent figure in Marvel Comics, based on the Norse mythological figure of the same name. He is the King of Asgard, ruler of the Norse Gods, and protector of the Nine Realms.

Born of Bor and Bestla, Odin possesses immense power, often referred to as the Odinforce. This grants him incredible strength, stamina, durability, and magical abilities, including energy projection, manipulation of time and space, and the ability to grant and remove power from others.

Odin is known for his wisdom and strategic prowess, often guiding Asgard through periods of war and instability. He has fought alongside his brothers Vili and Ve, and later, with his son Thor, to defend Asgard against threats such as the Frost Giants and Surtur.

He is the adoptive father of Loki, a relationship that is central to many conflicts in the Marvel Universe. Odin often struggles with balancing his duties as king with his responsibilities as a father, leading to complex relationships with both Thor and Loki. His pursuit of cosmic knowledge and maintaining the balance of the realms are constant drivers in his actions.
