Biography:
Ser Arys Oakheart was a knight of the Kingsguard under King Robert Baratheon and later King Joffrey Baratheon. He was known for his handsome appearance and adherence to knightly virtues, though some considered him rather naive.

Oakheart was dispatched to Dorne with Princess Myrcella Baratheon as part of a marriage alliance with House Martell. Officially, he served as her protector and Kingsguard knight. However, he soon became entangled in a forbidden affair with Princess Arianne Martell.

Driven by his affections for Arianne and perhaps a misguided sense of duty, Oakheart participated in her plot to crown Myrcella Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. This act was considered treasonous against King Tommen Baratheon.

The plot was uncovered, and Ser Arys was slain by Areo Hotah, Captain of the Martell guard, at the Stone Domes. His death further strained relations between the Iron Throne and Dorne and highlighted the dangers of his romantic entanglement.
