Dave Lizewski, known as Kick-Ass, is a fictional character who originated in the comic book series of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. He later gained wider recognition through the film adaptation, Kick-Ass (2010), and its sequel, Kick-Ass 2 (2013).

Dave is portrayed as an ordinary teenager obsessed with comic books and frustrated with his unremarkable life. Inspired by superhero stories, he decides to become a real-life superhero despite having no special abilities or training.

Donning a green and yellow wetsuit purchased online, he initially struggles and quickly faces the harsh realities of crime-fighting. However, his amateur attempts at heroism inadvertently draw the attention of genuine, dangerous criminals and other costumed vigilantes like Hit-Girl and Big Daddy.

Kick-Ass becomes a minor celebrity and internet sensation, inspiring others to take up the mantle of superheroism. His naiveté and bravery are tested as he gets caught up in increasingly violent and dangerous situations.
