Ichigo Kurosaki is the main protagonist of the popular anime and manga series, Bleach. He is a high school student living in Karakura Town. His life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki.

Due to Rukia's weakened state after a battle with a Hollow, Ichigo inherits her Soul Reaper powers, effectively becoming a substitute Soul Reaper. This grants him extraordinary spiritual abilities and a zanpakuto (soul-cutting sword) called Zangetsu.

Ichigo's orange hair and strong will make him stand out. He is fiercely protective of his friends and family. His journey is marked by constant battles against Hollows and Soul Reapers alike as he grows stronger and masters his abilities.

Throughout the series, Ichigo uncovers more about his family's history and his own hidden powers, including his connection to the Soul Society and Hollows. He constantly faces challenges, fighting to protect the human world and the Soul Society from various threats.
