Ultraman is the evil counterpart of Superman from the antimatter universe of Earth-3 in DC Comics. Unlike Superman, who is empowered by yellow sunlight, Ultraman derives his strength from Kryptonite. The longer he is exposed to it, the stronger he becomes.
His origin story mirrors Superman's, arriving on Earth as a baby as his home planet, Krypton, exploded. He was raised by human parents, who instilled in him an incredibly selfish and cruel worldview. Instead of using his powers for good, he uses them to dominate and control others.
Ultraman leads the Crime Syndicate, a villainous group that mirrors the Justice League. He is a brutal tyrant who rules Earth-3 through fear and violence. He represents the polar opposite of Superman's heroic ideals, embodying selfishness, cruelty, and a thirst for power.
