Betsy Braddock, currently known as Captain Britain, is a prominent character in Marvel Comics. Born Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock in England, she is the twin sister of Brian Braddock, the original Captain Britain.
Initially appearing as a supporting character in her brother's adventures, Betsy possessed latent psychic abilities, including telepathy and precognition. Her powers gradually developed, leading her to join S.H.I.E.L.D. and later the X-Men.
