Biography:
King Piccolo is a major antagonist in the original Dragon Ball series. He is the evil counterpart and reincarnation of Kami, the Guardian of Earth. Created when Kami purged himself of evil to become the guardian, King Piccolo embodies pure malice and destruction.
He seeks to conquer the world and plunge it into chaos. He is initially sealed away within an electric rice cooker by Master Mutaito, but is later released by Pilaf and his henchmen.
King Piccolo possesses immense strength, speed, and powerful energy projection abilities. He is responsible for the death of Krillin and Master Roshi, pushing Goku to his limits. He also uses the Dragon Balls to restore his youth, becoming younger and more powerful.
He is ultimately defeated by Goku in a climactic battle, but before his death, he spawns an egg containing his offspring and reincarnation, Piccolo Jr., who becomes a major character in the later Dragon Ball Z.
