Kir Kanos was a member of the Emperor's Royal Guard, fiercely loyal to Emperor Palpatine. He was considered one of the most skilled warriors in the galaxy.
Following Palpatine's death at the Battle of Endor, Kanos believed himself honor-bound to avenge his Emperor. He became a fugitive from the New Republic and a target of the reformed Empire.
Kanos focused his vengeance on Carnor Jax, another Royal Guard who had betrayed Palpatine and seized power. He relentlessly pursued Jax across the galaxy, fighting against the remnants of the Empire who followed the traitor.
Driven by his unwavering loyalty and sense of duty, Kanos became a symbol of the old Empire's values in a changing galaxy. He ultimately succeeded in killing Jax, fulfilling his vow of vengeance. Details of his life and ultimate fate after were told in the comic series Crimson Empire.
