Balloon Boy, or BB, is a character from the survival horror game Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

He is an animatronic child resembling a young boy with rosy cheeks, holding a red and blue striped balloon and a sign that reads "Balloons!".

Unlike some other animatronics, Balloon Boy cannot directly kill the player. Instead, he disables the player's flashlight and vents, leaving them vulnerable to other, more dangerous animatronics.

His role is primarily as a distraction and facilitator for other animatronic attacks. He emits a distinct laugh which alerts the player to his presence, though he offers no direct jumpscare.

Despite his seemingly harmless appearance, Balloon Boy is considered one of the most irritating characters by players due to his flashlight-draining ability.
