Circus Baby is a central antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, specifically introduced in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.
She is a humanoid animatronic with a primary red and white color scheme. Her design features a child-like appearance, including pigtails and a dress.
Initially presented as a malfunctioning entertainment robot, Circus Baby lures and captures children under the guise of providing assistance. Her programming is influenced by the consciousness of Elizabeth Afton, William Afton's daughter, who was killed by Circus Baby at the animatronic's debut.
Throughout Sister Location, Circus Baby guides the player, but her motives are eventually revealed to be self-serving. She aims to escape the facility by using the player's body as a disguise, forming the entity Ennard with other animatronic parts.
Ultimately, Circus Baby, or rather Elizabeth Afton within her, desires to make her father proud, and she believes this can be achieved through her actions, however misguided and destructive. She reappears in later games, retaining this core motivation.
