The Hydra Agent appearing in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is an unnamed, relatively minor antagonist.
Serving under Baron Wolfgang von Strucker at a remote HYDRA research facility in Sokovia, this agent is involved in experiments involving Loki's scepter and the creation of enhanced individuals. These experiments ultimately lead to the creation of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.
The agent, along with other HYDRA personnel, is responsible for maintaining the facility's operations, including security and scientific support. During the Avengers' raid on the facility, this Hydra Agent attempts to defend it but is quickly subdued and neutralized. The Avengers successfully shut down the base and end the human experimentation.
