Yoda is a legendary Jedi Master from the Star Wars galaxy, renowned for his wisdom, diminutive stature, and distinctive speech pattern where he inverts the typical sentence structure.
Born approximately 900 years before the Battle of Yavin (Episode IV: A New Hope), his origins remain shrouded in mystery. He achieved the rank of Jedi Master and served on the Jedi High Council for centuries, training generations of Jedi Knights.
Yoda was instrumental in guiding the Jedi Order during the Republic era, using his deep connection to the Force to foresee threats and provide guidance. He was a master of lightsaber combat, preferring a smaller blade due to his size, and known for his agility and speed.
During the Clone Wars, Yoda served as a general in the Republic army. Following Order 66, which decimated the Jedi Order, Yoda went into exile on the swamp planet Dagobah.
There, he awaited the arrival of Luke Skywalker, whom he trained in the ways of the Force. Yoda passed away peacefully at the age of 900, becoming one with the Force, but continued to guide Luke as a Force ghost.
