Biography:
Count Dooku, born on Serenno, was a prominent figure in the Star Wars galaxy. Originally a Jedi Master of exceptional skill and influence, he was trained by Yoda and mentored Qui-Gon Jinn.
Dooku grew disillusioned with the Jedi Order and the Republic, perceiving corruption and stagnation. This discontent, coupled with the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, led him to embrace the Sith, becoming Darth Tyranus under Darth Sidious (Palpatine).
As Darth Tyranus, Dooku became a key architect of the Separatist movement, orchestrating the secession of numerous star systems from the Republic and igniting the Clone Wars. He commanded the Separatist droid armies against the Republic's clone troopers.
A formidable lightsaber duelist and Force user, Dooku frequently engaged Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in combat. He was ultimately betrayed and murdered by Palpatine, who saw Anakin as a more powerful apprentice.
