Rocksteady is a fictional character appearing in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series.
Debuting in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), Rocksteady is depicted as a hulking, dim-witted criminal named Owen, working for Shredder. He is portrayed by Stephen Farrelly, a professional wrestler known as Sheamus.
Through a mutagenic transformation engineered by Baxter Stockman, Owen is converted into a humanoid rhinoceros. This transformation grants him immense strength and durability, making him a formidable opponent for the Turtles.
Alongside Bebop, another mutated henchman, Rocksteady serves as one of Shredder's primary enforcers. Although strong, his lack of intelligence often leads to comical mishaps and strategic blunders during his confrontations with the heroes in a half shell. He is easily manipulated by Shredder and Stockman.
Rocksteady is ultimately defeated by the Ninja Turtles during their climactic battle, being rendered unconscious and taken into custody after failing to accomplish Shredder's plans.
