Biography:
Omni-Man, whose real name is Nolan Grayson, is a fictional character created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, appearing in the Image Comics series Invincible.
He hails from the Viltrumite planet, a race of super-powered humanoids dedicated to expanding their empire across the galaxy. He arrived on Earth decades before the start of the series, presenting himself as a benevolent superhero dedicated to protecting the planet. He married Debbie Grayson and fathered Mark Grayson (Invincible).
Initially portrayed as a Superman-esque figure, Omni-Man's true, sinister purpose is gradually revealed. He was sent to weaken Earth's defenses in preparation for a Viltrumite takeover. This deception and his subsequent confrontation with Invincible over his mission form the core conflict of the early series.
