Biography:
Dalek Sec was a prominent Dalek from the BBC science fiction television series, Doctor Who. He held the rank of Dalek Sec, a title denoting leadership and strategic importance within the Dalek hierarchy.
Initially appearing in the two-part story "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday" (2006), Sec was a member of the Cult of Skaro, an elite group of Daleks tasked with thinking outside the box and ensuring Dalek survival by any means necessary. He was distinguished by his black casing, setting him apart from the standard bronze Daleks.
Later, in "Daleks in Manhattan" and "Evolution of the Daleks" (2007), Sec enacted a radical plan to preserve the Dalek race: transforming himself into a "Human Dalek" hybrid. By merging with a human, he aimed to create a new Dalek race capable of adaptation and independent thought, believing the pure Dalek form had reached an evolutionary dead end. This experiment, however, ultimately failed, and Dalek Sec was killed by other Daleks who deemed his actions as heresy and a betrayal of the Dalek ideal of racial purity.
