The Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, often referred to as "Paz Vizsla" (though this wasn't officially confirmed until later appearances), is a member of the Tribe, a covert group of Mandalorians operating on Nevarro after the fall of the Empire. He is distinguished by his massive, heavy armor and affinity for powerful weaponry, including a rotary blaster cannon.
Initially skeptical of Din Djarin's actions regarding Grogu, Paz Vizsla adheres strictly to the Mandalorian creed. He challenges Din Djarin's right to keep Beskar earned through a commission, believing it should be returned to the Tribe for the forging of armor for more Mandalorians. This leads to a brief but intense duel.
Despite their differences, Paz Vizsla fights alongside Din Djarin against the Imperial Remnant, demonstrating a fierce loyalty to his Tribe and a commitment to their survival. He later sacrifices himself defending his clan during an attack by Super Commandos.
