Ap'lek was a member of the Knights of Ren, a dark side organization active after the fall of the Galactic Empire and during the rise of the First Order.
He was a human male who wielded a unique, heavily modified axe. This weapon, combined with his dark side abilities, made him a formidable combatant.
Ap'lek served under Kylo Ren, following his command in the hunt for Luke Skywalker and the destruction of any potential Jedi threats. The Knights of Ren acted as Kylo Ren's enforcers.
His fate is ultimately sealed on Exegol. He, along with the other Knights of Ren, confronted Kylo Ren (then Ben Solo) and Rey in a final battle. Ap'lek was killed during this confrontation, effectively ending the Knights of Ren's reign of terror.
