Biography:

Scorpion, also known as Mac Gargan, is a prominent villain in the Marvel Universe, primarily associated with Spider-Man. He began his career as a private investigator hired by J. Jonah Jameson to uncover information discrediting Spider-Man.

Dissatisfied with simply gathering information, Gargan agreed to undergo an experimental procedure developed by Farley Stillwell that would imbue him with the characteristics of a scorpion. This process granted him enhanced strength, speed, agility, and a powerful, prehensile tail.

However, the experiment had unforeseen consequences. Gargan's personality was warped, driving him insane and turning him into the villainous Scorpion. He became obsessed with Spider-Man, blaming him for his transformation and dedicating his life to destroying the web-slinger.

Over the years, Scorpion has undergone numerous transformations, including briefly bonding with the Venom symbiote and becoming the villainous Spider-Man. He remains a persistent threat in the Marvel Universe, driven by his hatred for Spider-Man and his unstable mental state.
