Nathaniel Richards, often known as Kang the Conqueror, is a time-traveling supervillain within the Marvel Universe. Born in the 31st century on an alternate Earth, he is a descendant of either Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic) or Doctor Doom (depending on the continuity).

Richards, bored with his utopian era, discovered time travel technology, allowing him to journey through history. He adopted numerous identities throughout time, including Pharaoh Rama-Tut in ancient Egypt and Scarlet Centurion. His ultimate goal is universal domination, seeking to conquer all of time and space.

Kang possesses no inherent superhuman abilities but is exceptionally intelligent, a master strategist, and skilled in combat. He relies on advanced technology from his future, including powerful armor, energy weapons, and time-manipulating devices. He frequently battles the Avengers, often creating complex temporal paradoxes in his schemes.

Due to time travel, Kang's history and motivations are incredibly convoluted. Multiple versions and divergent timelines of Kang exist simultaneously, further complicating his character and making him a formidable and unpredictable adversary.
