Kamen Rider Wizard is the main character of the 2012-2013 Japanese tokusatsu drama Kamen Rider Wizard. His real name is Haruto Soma. He becomes Kamen Rider Wizard after surviving a ritual called the Sabbath during a solar eclipse.
During the Sabbath, Haruto was thrown into despair and faced Phantoms, monstrous beings born from human despair. He resisted and a mysterious white mage appeared offering a hope of survival.
This mysterious entity gifts him with the Wizardriver, a magical belt and a set of Wizard Rings. These Rings allow him to transform into Kamen Rider Wizard and wield magic to combat the Phantoms and save others from falling into despair like he almost did.
As Kamen Rider Wizard, Haruto wields various elemental magic powers linked to his different Rings, such as fire, water, wind, and earth. He is driven by a strong desire to protect hope and prevent others from suffering the same fate he did, fighting to ensure no one is consumed by despair.
