Biography:
D-O is a small, one-wheeled droid from the Star Wars universe, first appearing in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. He is discovered on the desert planet of Pasaana by Rey and the Resistance.
D-O was originally owned by Ochi of Bestoon, a Sith assassin. Ochi, attempting to locate Exegol and the Sith Eternal, used D-O's memory banks, wiping much of the droid's original programming. This left D-O with a generally fearful and hesitant demeanor.
After being found, D-O is repaired and reactivated by BB-8. Despite his initial apprehension, D-O proves to be a valuable asset to the Resistance. His stored knowledge of Sith navigation helps them locate Exegol and confront Emperor Palpatine.
D-O's journey highlights themes of overcoming fear and finding purpose within a larger cause. His small size belies his significant contribution to the defeat of the First Order and the Sith Eternal.
