BD droids are a type of bipedal exploration droid first introduced in the Star Wars video game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Designed for planetary exploration and data collection, BD units are characterized by their compact size, versatile tool appendages, and a generally helpful personality.
The most prominent BD droid is BD-1, who accompanies Jedi Knight Cal Kestis on his mission to rebuild the Jedi Order. BD-1, often referred to as "Bee-Dee," was formerly attached to Jedi Master Eno Cordova and carries crucial information regarding the location of Force-sensitive children across the galaxy.
BD-1 provides Cal with essential assistance throughout his journey, including mapping environments, scanning for secrets and enemies, providing healing stims, and hacking Imperial technology.
