Hashirama Senju was a legendary shinobi, hailed as the God of Shinobi, and the First Hokage of Konohagakure. He was born into the Senju clan during the Warring States Period, a time of constant conflict between ninja clans.

He possessed a unique Wood Release Kekkei Genkai, allowing him to manipulate and create plant life, giving him a significant advantage in battle and construction. His power and charisma allowed him to forge a truce with the Uchiha clan, led by his childhood friend and rival, Madara Uchiha.

Together, they founded Konohagakure, aiming to create a peaceful village where children wouldn't have to fight. Hashirama was ultimately chosen as the First Hokage, a decision that deeply impacted his relationship with Madara, leading to their final battle at the Valley of the End. Hashirama won, though the victory came at a great cost.

His vision for the village centered around cooperation and diplomacy, establishing many of the core principles that Konoha still follows. Even after his death, his DNA proved to be incredibly valuable, leading to attempts at replication and experimentation.
