Barasso, also known as El Aguila (The Eagle), is a Marvel Comics character debuting in 1978. He is a mutant with the power to bio-electrically charge objects, most frequently his twin swords, unleashing powerful electrical blasts.
Born Alejandro Montoya in Spain, he was raised in a remote village by his parents, who were descendants of a long line of Spanish nobility. They instilled in him a strong sense of honor and justice.
After manifesting his mutant powers, Alejandro trained extensively to master them, becoming a skilled swordsman and marksman. He adopted the identity of El Aguila to defend the oppressed and fight injustice in his homeland.
