Biography:
Harry Osborn, portrayed by Dane DeHaan in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, takes on the mantle of the Green Goblin. He is the estranged son of Norman Osborn, the CEO of Oscorp, and Peter Parker's childhood friend.
Reeling from a terminal illness mirroring his father's, Harry seeks Spider-Man's blood, believing it to be the key to his survival. Spider-Man refuses, fearing the unknown consequences. Desperate, Harry injects himself with a modified version of the Oscorp spider venom.
The serum transforms him into a monstrous version of the Green Goblin, marked by grotesque physical alterations and heightened aggression. Unlike previous iterations, this Green Goblin's transformation is more visibly drastic.
Consumed by rage and blaming Spider-Man for his condition, Harry sets out to destroy him. His motives are driven by both his failing health and a perceived betrayal, culminating in a destructive confrontation that results in the death of Gwen Stacy.
