Alexander "Lex" Luthor Jr. (DCEU) is a brilliant, albeit deeply disturbed, businessman and scientific genius. Heir to LexCorp, a vast technological and industrial empire, Luthor is driven by a profound disdain for Superman. He views the Kryptonian as an existential threat to humanity, believing that absolute power corrupts, and Superman's unchecked abilities present an unacceptable risk.

Publicly, he presents himself as a philanthropic innovator. However, his actions are fueled by a paranoid obsession with exposing and defeating Superman. He manipulates events to pit Batman against Superman, furthering his ultimate goal of proving Superman's potential for destruction and, ultimately, eliminating him.

Luthor's intellect is his most potent weapon, enabling him to orchestrate complex schemes and engineer sophisticated technologies. His motivations stem from a troubled childhood and a deep-seated fear of the unknown and uncontrollable. Following his capture and imprisonment for his crimes against Superman, Luthor remains a dangerous figure, hinting at larger, malevolent plans to come.
