Biography:
Beerus, also known as the God of Destruction Beerus, is a key character in the Dragon Ball Super anime and manga series. He is introduced as a powerful being whose primary role is to destroy planets to maintain balance in the universe. His immense power surpasses even that of Super Saiyan God.
He awakens from a long slumber after hearing rumors of a Saiyan who defeated Frieza. Intrigued, he seeks out Goku, hoping to find the Super Saiyan God. His quest leads him to Earth, where he challenges Goku to a fight. While Goku is defeated, Beerus is impressed by his potential.
Despite his destructive tendencies and seemingly apathetic demeanor, Beerus develops a complex relationship with Goku and Vegeta. He allows them to train with Whis, his attendant and martial arts master, effectively becoming a mentor figure, albeit a capricious one. Beerus's actions, though often motivated by self-interest or boredom, inadvertently contribute to the growth and protection of Earth.
