The National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) Squad Leader, or Staffelführer, was a mid-ranking officer within the Nazi organization. The NSKK was not strictly part of the military, but a paramilitary organization focused on motor transport and vehicle training.
A Staffelführer typically led a Staffel, a unit roughly equivalent to a company. Their responsibilities included overseeing the training of NSKK members in driving skills, vehicle maintenance, and political indoctrination. They also managed the deployment of vehicles and personnel for NSKK activities, such as rallies, parades, and support for other Nazi organizations.
While not directly involved in combat, NSKK members and leaders, including Staffelführer, were deeply embedded within the Nazi system.
