Cinderella, a central character in Disney's animated classic, is a young woman living a life of servitude. Following the death of her father, she is forced into the role of a maid by her cruel stepmother, Lady Tremaine, and her two spiteful stepsisters, Drizella and Anastasia.

Despite the constant mistreatment and drudgery, Cinderella maintains a kind and optimistic disposition. She dreams of a better life and finds solace in her animal friends, particularly the mice and birds that populate her surroundings.

Her fortunes change when the Prince holds a ball, hoping to find a wife. Cinderella is initially forbidden from attending, but her Fairy Godmother intervenes, providing her with a beautiful gown and glass slippers, along with a carriage. She is warned that the magic will only last until midnight.

At the ball, she captivates the Prince, but must flee before the spell breaks, leaving behind a single glass slipper. The Prince, smitten, orders a search for the woman whose foot fits the slipper. Ultimately, the slipper fits Cinderella, revealing her true identity and leading to her marriage to the Prince and a life free from her stepfamily's tyranny.
