Lumière is a fictional character from Disney's 1991 animated film, *Beauty and the Beast*. He is a charming and flamboyant French maître d'hôtel who was transformed into a candelabra as part of the curse placed upon the Prince's castle.
Prior to the curse, Lumière was responsible for overseeing the Prince's lavish parties and ensuring the comfort of his guests. Following the curse, he remains dedicated to providing excellent service, though now to a reluctant Beast and, eventually, Belle.
