Adrian Toomes, portrayed by Michael Keaton, is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's iteration of the Vulture.
Initially a salvage company owner, Toomes and his crew were contracted to clean up after the Battle of New York. However, Damage Control, a joint venture between Tony Stark and the U.S. government, terminated his contract, effectively putting him out of business.
Fueled by resentment towards Stark and the wealthy elite, Toomes and his team secretly kept the salvaged Chitauri technology. They reverse-engineered it, creating advanced weaponry, including a flight suit for Toomes, transforming him into the Vulture. He became a criminal arms dealer, selling alien-based technology to various buyers for profit.
His operations brought him into direct conflict with Peter Parker (Spider-Man). While initially portrayed as a villain, Toomes possesses a strong sense of family and loyalty to his crew. He believes he is providing for them in a world that has left them behind.
After being defeated by Spider-Man, Toomes was imprisoned. However, his interactions with other inmates hint at lingering consequences and potential future involvement within the MCU.
