One Piece

Usopp is a prominent character in the renowned manga and anime series, One Piece. Initially introduced as a cowardly liar and self-proclaimed captain of the Usopp Pirates in his hometown village, Syrup Village.

He joins the Straw Hat Pirates as their sniper, fulfilling his dream of becoming a brave warrior of the sea. His excellent marksmanship is crucial to the crew's success in many battles.

Usopp, despite his initial anxieties and tendency to exaggerate, gradually develops courage and resourcefulness throughout the series. He's the crew's inventor, capable of creating useful tools and gadgets, including his signature weapon, the Kabuto. He later takes on the alter ego "Sogeking," a masked hero and sniper.

He overcomes his insecurities, facing formidable opponents and contributing to the Straw Hats' victories. He has moments of self-doubt, leading to friction with the crew at times, but ultimately, he remains a loyal and vital member, striving to live up to the reputation of his father, Yasopp, a sharpshooter in Shanks' Red Hair Pirates.
